Nepal, Dec. 31 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Wednesday rose 10.87 points to close at 2,633.76 points.

The secondary market opened at 2,622.88 points, initially escalated 16 points followed by a decline of nine points in 37 minutes of trading. In the next one and a half hours, the index reached the day's high at 2,643.64 points in the midway of the total trading time. The market, however, experienced a gradual decline to hit the day's low at 2,627.94 points in the last five minutes. The market recovered around six points in the remaining period before it closed for the day.
