MUSTANG, Nov. 1 -- Fourteen trekkers have been missing for three days at Suribung pass in the border of Mustang and Manang districts.

The company that arranged their trek reported that the trekkers were en route to Phu village in Manang district via the Damodarkunda area of Yara in Loghekar Damodarkunda Rural Municipality-4 in Mustang district.

Chief District Officer of Mustang Bishnu Prasad Bhusal confirmed that three Austrians and 11 Nepali trekkers have gone missing since Tuesday following heavy snowfall in the area.

The Saribung pass is located at an altitude of 6,000 metres from the sea level.
