Kathmandu, Oct. 14 -- Among those who escaped from various prisons, 113 inmates have voluntarily returned to the Regional Prison in Bhimphedi, Makwanpur. As of Monday morning, a total of 325 fugitives from Bhimphedi and other prisons have been brought back.
Prison Chief Subash Paudel said 256 inmates had escaped from Bhimphedi, while 69 fled from other facilities, totaling 325 who have now returned. According to Chief Paudel, 113 of them contacted the prison themselves, while the rest were apprehended and returned by security personnel.
