KATHMANDU, Feb. 16 -- Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Bindabasini Kansakar urged the government to establish a burn treatment center as well as approve the bill on the treatment of burn victims.
Speaking at the House of Representatives meeting on Sunday, she highlighted that incidents of burn affect 60,000 to 65,000 Nepali citizens each year. She criticized the government's lack of serious attention to workforce development and to the health sector, stating that even high-ranking individuals have suffered as a result.
