Nepal, Sept. 11 -- The much-anticipated tripartite talks aimed at finding a decisive political solution have been suspended after Durga Prasai entered the venue.

Earlier, the talks had begun at the Nepali Army Headquarters in the presence of Chief of Army Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel after the Gen Z group reached a consensus to appoint former Chief Justice Sushila Karki as the Prime Minister.

The representatives of Gen Z groups had walked out of the meeting after Durga Prasai joined the meeting. The youth groups had earlier expressed reservation after CoAS Sigdel called Prasai and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) as stakeholders of the Gen Z movement.
