Nigeria, Nov. 9 -- A coalition of civil society organisations has declared that the official results of the 8 November Anambra governorship election released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are consistent with its independently verified estimates, affirming the credibility of the electoral process.

However, the coalition, named the Anambra Election Observation Hub, and comprising Yiaga Africa, the Kukah Centre, International Press Centre (IPC), Centre for Media and Society (CEMESO), Nigeria Women Trust Fund (NWTF), ElectHER, and TAF Africa, decried vote buying and voters' apathy.
