Nigeria, Sept. 8 -- Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has expressed confidence that Nigeria will rise to the occasion when they face Bafana Bafana in a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Tuesday in Bloemfontein.

Chukwueze, who recently completed a high-profile move from AC Milan to Premier League side Fulham, was an unused substitute in Nigeria's 1-0 victory over Rwanda in Uyo but is expected to get some minutes against South Africa.

Speaking ahead of the high-stakes clash, the 25-year-old stressed that Nigeria's focus remains firmly on securing maximum points to boost their chances of qualifying for the World Cup.
