Nigeria, Nov. 1 -- The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Friday celebrated the judgment of the Federal High Court in Abuja halting the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) planned National Convention, describing it as a "victory against impunity" within the party.
Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court had earlier in the day restrained the PDP from proceeding with its 2025 national convention pending the determination of a suit challenging the legality of certain leadership decisions within the party.
