Nigeria, Dec. 1 -- The Head of the International Secretariat and the Executive Director of the global EITI (Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative), Mark Robinson, was in Nigeria last week. During the three-day visit, Mr Robinson held meetings with key government officials, agencies and civil society groups on the EITI remediation process.

Business & Economy Editor, Bassey Udo was at his meeting with civil society groups and the media where he acknowledged Nigeria's progress. He said the country's achievements so far put her in a unique class among the 52 EITI member countries.
