Nigeria, May 22 -- An official of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has explained why the board has not released the results of the rescheduled Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The board had planned to release the rescheduled UTME results on Wednesday, according to a memo sent to reporters. It was, however, postponed.

JAMB Spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, told PREMIUM TIMES on Thursday that the board has not decided yet the day to release the UTME.

However, a source who spoke to PREMIUM TIMES anonymously explained that the board had earlier reviewed the result and had invited experts to review it before it is released to the candidates.
