Nigeria, June 2 -- Nigeria's electoral commission, INEC, has given reasons for opposing the tendering of many certified electoral documents brought to court by Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to prove their case against President Bola Tinubu's victory in the last presidential election.

Mr Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) won the February presidential election, defeating Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who came second, and Mr Obi of the Labour Party, who came third in the race.

Atiku and Mr Obi are challenging Mr Tinubu's victory at the Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja.
