Nigeria, July 20 -- Defending champions South Africa have booked a blockbuster semifinal date with Nigeria's Super Falcons after overcoming Senegal 4-1 on penalties in a dramatic quarterfinal clash at the Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) on Saturday night.
Played at the Honneur Stadium in Oujda, the match ended goalless after 120 minutes of intense football. This forced the game into a penalty shootout, in which the Banyana Banyana displayed nerves of steel.
