Nigeria, March 24 -- On Sunday, the embattled 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, supervised the renovation of his Mandawari residence ahead of the Sallah durbar procession.

Mr Ado Bayero moved from the emirate's mini palace to the Mandawari residence of the metropolis, where he supervised the project and received homage from residents before returning to the Nasarawa GRA mini palace.
