Nigeria, Sept. 16 -- The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) have issued a seven-day ultimatum to the federal government over unmet demands.

In a letter addressed to the Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, the Joint Action Committee (JAC) of NASU and SSANU said the government has consistently failed to address their demands, despite several meetings and reminders.
