As the backbone of Nigeria's digital economy, the telecommunications industry plays a pivotal role in national development, contributing 14.58 per cent to the country's GDP. With the current government's vision of growing Nigeria's economy to a trillion-dollar GDP, telecommunications and digital services are expected to be major contributors.
