Nigeria, Sept. 27 -- PREMIUM TIMES' Journalist, Abdulkareem Mojeed, was one of the three Nigerian journalists celebrated at the second edition of the Nigerian Climate Justice Media Award on Friday.

The award ceremony held in Abuja was organised by the Global Initiative for Food Security and Ecosystem Preservation (GIFSIEP), Oxfam and the African Activists for Climate Justice.

Mr Mojeed emerged the Second Runner Up with his story exposing how conflict with humans endangers Nigeria's wild elephants. He went home with a N250,000 cash prize and a plaque.

Michael Simire of Environment News emerged as First Runner Up with a N350,000 cash prize and a plaque.
