Nigeria, Feb. 6 -- The Kaduna State Government has intervened in the industrial dispute between Kaduna Electric and its workers' union, which had led to power outage in the company's franchise states for four days.

Deputy Governor Hadiza Balarabe, who hosted meeting with the two parties at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House on Thursday, pleaded with the union to restore electricity to consumers as soon as possible.

She said the outage has impacted negatively across all sectors.
