Nigeria, Nov. 30 -- The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has condemned the list of ambassadorial nominees submitted to the National Assembly for approval, saying it contained names of many people widely perceived negatively by Nigerians and the global community.
This was contained in a statement by the spokesperson of the party, Ini Ememobong, in Abuja on Saturday.
President Bola Tinubu had earlier on Saturday nominated 32 Nigeria for ambassadorial positions.
Some of the nominees are the immediate past INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, and a former presidential aide, Reno Omokri.
Former governors of Enugu and Abia states, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Okezie Ikpeazu, are also on the list.
