Nigeria, May 1 -- Sequel to the inaugural skill and empowerment workshop held in Abuja in February, the Nigerian Indigenous Women in Mining and Natural Resources Organisation (NIWIMNRO) has concluded a one-day training for indigenous women artisanal miners in Kaduna State, as part of its North-western intervention.

The training, held on Monday with support from the Solid Minerals Development Fund, equipped selected women miners with essential skill sets to help them thrive in the mining sector through sustainable practices, improved market access, and a better understanding of their rights and safety.
