Nigeria, March 2 -- The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has accused President Bola Tinubu of playing politics while millions of Nigerians suffer from hunger and insecurity due to government policies.

The NLC, the largest amalgamation of labour unions in Nigeria, also said it is troubled by President Bola Tinubu's recent statement that the labour union lacks the moral ground to challenge his government since it openly supported an opposition presidential candidate in last year's election. The president suggested that the NLC should instead focus on preparing for the 2027 election.
