Nigeria, March 25 -- The Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), on Monday, confirmed that Nadeem Anjarwalla, a suspect in the ongoing criminal probe into the activities of Binance in Nigeria, has escaped from lawful custody.

The Head of Strategic Communication at the Office of the National Security Adviser, Zakari Mijinyawa, said Mr Anjarwalla escaped on Friday, 22 March.

Earlier on Monday, PREMIUM TIMES exclusively reported how Mr Anjarwalla escaped from lawful custody, according to those familiar with the matter.
