Nigeria, March 7 -- Nigeria held its Presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday, February 25, across all the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory. It was the most competitive election since the country's return to democratic rule in 1999, the seventh in the cycle. It was also the election with the lowest turn-out: just about 25. 2 million voters voted in that election.
