Nigeria, July 13 -- The July 12 Local Government elections in Lagos State were held under generally peaceful conditions in Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

Beyond the relatively peaceful conduct, voter turnout was notably appreciable at the locations visited by PREMIUM TIMES, even in the face of the near-total political dominance of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)."
