Nigeria, Aug. 21 -- Jaiz Bank Plc reported a 121 per cent rise in profit before tax to N24.44 billion for the year ended 31 December 2024, up from N11.05 billion in 2023, as the bank strengthened earnings and improved efficiency.

Nigeria's first non-interest bank also declared a dividend of N3.2 billion, or 7 kobo per share, at its 2024 annual general meeting held Wednesday in Abuja.

Gross earnings increased 75 per cent to N82.87 billion from N47.24 billion in 2023, lifted by higher yields on earning assets, which rose from 13.02 per cent to 14.43 per cent, and a 72 per cent jump in investment income.
