Nigeria, Feb. 18 -- Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, 57, Nigeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs, in a widely circulated opinion article entitled, 'Foreign Policy and The Path To Peace in A Dangerous Neighbourhood', basically sought to defend President Tinubu against un-named critics of his government's apparent closeness to the French government, and his handling, as Chairman of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government, of the military coup in neighbouring Niger Republic.
