Nigeria, Aug. 1 -- A group, the Natural Oil and Gas Suppliers Association of Nigeria (NOGASA), has called on the federal government to intervene in Dangote Refinery's plan to directly supply petroleum products to end-users, citing potential job losses and industry instability.

Benneth Korie, the president of NOGASA, made the call while speaking on Thursday at the association's Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Abuja.

On 15 June, the Dangote Petroleum Refinery announced a major initiative to transform Nigeria's fuel distribution landscape.
