Nigeria, June 27 -- El-Kanemi Warriors FC are set to appoint veteran coach Kabiru Dogo as their new Technical Adviser ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

A credible source close to the negotiations confirmed to PREMIUM TIMES that Dogo has already arrived in Maiduguri to finalise his deal with the club.

His appointment is expected to be officially announced in the coming days in a major move aimed at turning around the fortunes of the Maiduguri-based club.

"El-Kanemi are in the final stages. Coach Dogo is already in town, and the agreement is almost sealed," the source revealed.
