Nigeria, June 28 -- World record holder Tobi Amusan is officially set to headline the women's 100m hurdles at the golden 50th edition of the Prefontaine Classic, scheduled for Saturday, 5 July, at the iconic Hayward Field in Oregon, USA.
The Nigerian sprint hurdler, who made history on this very track in 2022 with her jaw-dropping 12.12s world record, returns to her "home of magic" in what is shaping up to be a heavyweight showdown against the very best in the world.
Now 28, Amusan has been in blistering form this season. She recently stormed to victory in Ostrava with a 12.45s finish a few days after blazing to12.24s season's best in Paris in what was a stacked Diamond League field.
