Nigeria, Sept. 12 -- The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially launched the 100-day countdown to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, promising another historic celebration of African football when the continent gathers from 21 December to 18 January 2026.
For the first time in 37 years, Morocco will host Africa's biggest sporting event, providing world-class facilities across nine stadiums in six cities-Rabat, Casablanca, Fes, Tangier, Marrakech, and Agadir.
The Kingdom, which recently staged the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations and the 2025 U-17 AFCON, is expected to deliver a spectacle that reflects both its passion for football and its rising global status as a host nation.
