Nigeria, Jan. 28 -- Air Peace on Wednesday said adverse weather conditions and a bird strike disrupted some of its scheduled flights on major domestic routes, including Lagos-Port Harcourt and Abuja-Owerri.
The airline disclosed this in a press release, stating that poor visibility caused by unfavourable weather conditions affected flight operations on the routes, resulting in unavoidable delays.
According to the airline, the Abuja-Owerri service was separately affected by a bird strike upon arrival in Owerri, prompting precautionary aircraft inspections.
