Nigeria, June 16 -- Regarding the development rhetoric of contemporary Africa, the relentless pursuit of Western model of development sometimes ignores the contribution of local knowledge systems. Western paradigms, which developed during the time of colonialism, have dominated problems related to education, technology, and development over many years.
