Nigeria, July 11 -- The Senate Committee on Public Accounts has again extended its ultimatum to the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) over the alleged unaccounted N210 trillion in the company's audited financial statements between 2017 and 2023.
The Committee Chairperson, Aliyu Wadada (SDP, Nasarawa West) announced the extension during a meeting on Thursday at the National Assembly.
This is the third time the committee is granting the oil firm more time to clarify the discrepancies.
