Nigeria, Jan. 30 -- Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has once again appealed for financial assistance to fund brain tumour surgery.

Throughout her acting career, the actress has faced numerous health challenges.

In 2017, Halima travelled to India, where she had surgery to take out fibroids. Back then, she slammed her colleagues, who she said didn't reach out to her, while thanking those who did.

The actress also spent years in a legal tussle with Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, whom she accused of dating her and reneging on his promise to marry her.

In 2022, the controversial actress announced that she had quit acting.
