Denmark, April 29 -- Vestas has announced a new wind energy order in Germany as part of its Q2 order intake, further strengthening its presence in the European renewable energy market.The order, placed by an undisclosed customer, includes the supply of seven V172-7.2 MW wind turbines, totaling a capacity of 50 MW. While the project name and customer details remain confidential, the agreement highlights continued demand for high-capacity turbine solutions in the region.As part of the contract, Vestas will also provide a 20-year Active Output Management (AOM 4000) service agreement, designed to ensure optimized performance and long-term reliability of the turbines.Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2027, w...
