UNIT Co. awarded $54,303,500 contract for construction of the Alaska Army National Guard aircraft maintenance hangar

United States, April 10 -- UNIT Co., Anchorage, Alaska, was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract for construction of the Alaska Army National Guard aircraft maintenance hangar. The amount of this action is $54,303,500. Bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work will be performed in Fort Richardson, Alaska, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 15, 2028. Fiscal 2023 military construction, Army National Guard funds in the amount of $54,303,500 were obligated at the time of the award. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, is the contracting activity (W911KB-26-C-A010).
