An object-focussed investigation into trafficking
The illicit trade in antiquities, rare wildlife, and fossils is a lucrative black-market business. Criminals deal with high value commodities, which they transport across borders to sell to the highest bidder. A diverse set of interchangeable participants are involved. The EU-funded TRANSFORM project will take an innovative, multidisciplinary and object-centred framework to investigate this form of illicit trade.
