Norway, March 31 -- Orkla Snacks has entered into an agreement to sell 100% of the shares in Noi-Sirius HF ("Noi-Sirius"), the leading manufacturer of chocolate and confectionery in Iceland to Alfa Framtak.Orkla acquired 20% of the shares in Noi-Sirius in 2019, and the remaining 80% in 2021. In 2025, the company had a turnover of NOK 427m and an EBIT of NOK 48m.At the 2023 Capital Markets Day, Orkla Snacks presented the company's strategy to unlock growth potential in hero brands through much sharper portfolio prioritization. Although Noi-Sirius has performed well, its strategic fit with the broader Orkla Snacks portfolio is limited and adds structural complexity.
