A new model to uncover the climate history of Mars
Many of the mysteries associated with the planet Mars have been solved over the past decades thanks to robots. Robotic exploration has provided scientists information on climate changes in this desert planet but many questions about Mars' atmosphere remain unanswered. The EU-funded Mars through time project will create a new 'Mars Evolution Model'. Researchers will use new technologies to depict the specificities of the planet's surface and follow the entire history of environmental change and the reasons that provoked it.
