Mixed biofilms that are environmentally resistant are responsible for some of the most common diseases, posing a major threat to human health. Therefore, there is a need to pursue excellence in anti-biofilm research and biofilm assessment. The Faculty of Natural Sciences at the Comenius University of Bratislava (FNS CU) is known for developing innovative technologies.
