Safeguarding forest ecosystems
Forests ecosystems are central to human well-being, in addition to being critical habitats for biodiversity. These ecosystems are, however, exposed to environmental, economic and social pressures that are affecting their health and resilience. Contributing to this field, the EU-funded DecisionES project aims to boost research collaboration between eight European and 10 American organisations involved in the development and application of decision support approaches for the provision of ecosystem services.
