France, Feb. 4 -- The Cathay Group will equip its new fleets of 30 A330neo aircraft to be operated by Cathay Pacific and 18 A321neo/A320neo aircraft to be operated by HK Express with Thales' market-leading avionics solutions. This includes Airbus' new generation Flight Management System (FMS) which is based on Thales' PureFlyt FMS, Thales' 5G-Immune Low-Range Radio Altimeter (LRRA) and Head-Up Display (HUD), as well as the Traffic Collision Avoidance System (T3CAS) by ACSS. Cathay Pacific will also equip its A330neos with AVIATOR S, Thales' cockpit satellite communications (SATCOM) system.
