Poland, March 10 -- Alstom, a global leader in intelligent and sustainable mobility, has signed a contract with PORR for the execution of works related to the installation of railway traffic control devices in the newly constructed long-distance tunnel in ?od?. The investment is a key part of railway line no. 85, that is, the railway "Y", which by 2032 will connect Warsaw and the new national airport (being built as part of the Port Polska programme by CPK) with ?od?, and in 2035 will enable the launch of the fastest High-Speed Rail connections to Wroc?aw and Pozna?.Alstom is responsible for the comprehensive design and construction of signaling solutions in the tunnel, as well as its integration into the area of ?od?
