Spain, April 30 -- ACCIONA has been awarded the contract to build the control tower for the new Chinchero-Cuzco International Airport, a strategic infrastructure project aimed at strengthening aerial connectivity and contributing to the development of the region in the heart of the Peruvian Andes. The contract is valued at US$48 million (€41 million).The project is part of the investment plan of Peru's Ministry of Transport and Communications, featuring technical assistance from the South Korean Project Management Office, an organization with which it maintains a collaborative agreement.The contract includes the construction of the control tower complex, with a total built area of 4,102.70m².
