Bhopal, April 6 -- In a shocking case of personal revenge, a 28-year-old man was critically injured in an acid attack on Friday night near the Hathaikheda bridge. The victim, Rajesh Sharma, a resident of the Hathaikheda area and a welder by profession, sustained serious facial injuries after his neighbor, Madan Vishwakarma, allegedly attacked him with acid following a prior dispute.
According to Piplani police, the assault was a planned act of revenge stemming from a violent confrontation between the two men just three days earlier. The earlier altercation had escalated into a physical fight, in which Rajesh had reportedly assaulted Madan.
