Lucknow, March 5 -- The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh is taking concrete steps to empower Divyangjan and make them self-reliant.
Uttar Pradesh has become the first state in the country to have two dedicated universities for the higher education of Divyangjan. Additionally, 25 childhood care centres provide essential facilities to children with special needs.
In a significant move, the government is carrying out a comprehensive rejuvenation of deaf and dumb schools in six districts before the new academic session. These efforts aim to enhance educational and training facilities for Divyangjan, ensuring their seamless integration into mainstream society.
