Ranchi, March 12 -- During the question hour in the budget session of Jharkhand, Congress MLA Pradeep Yadav raised the question of adjustment of lecturers based on need in affiliated colleges.
He said that in the year 2017, more than 700 lecturers are being employed due to shortage of teachers. All of them have been selected only after meeting every criterion. Therefore, such lecturers who have been serving for years should be adjusted and made permanent. He also cited the arrangements made in states like Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Mizoram. The special thing is that 90 percent of the lecturers serving are from Jharkhand.
