Chandigarh, April 10 -- In a significant boost to alternative medicine in Punjab, the Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Balbir Singh on Wednesday announced the establishment of a Government Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital in Ludhiana district during the state-level 'World Homeopathy Day' celebrations at Municipal Bhawan. The event marked the birth anniversary of Dr Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy, observed globally on April 10.
