Bhopal, April 19 -- On the occasion of World Heritage Day, various events were organised at Madhya Pradesh State Tribal Museum here on Thursday.
To begin with the event, a lecture was organized by the Department of Culture on the occasion of singing mainly in the state museum with painting competition, exhibition and subject matter.
After, the lecture the event was followed with the performance of Sunanda Sharma of the Banaras gharana in the evening. Sunanda, the great master of music, the disciple of Girija Devi, chose rare ragas and restrictions specifically for today's singing. The singer was accompanied by Majid Khan on Suhaganj and Harmonium and Majhi.
