Bhopal, May 27 -- A five-day workshop to evaluate age-specific safety indicators for women tourists began at the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) on Monday. The workshop is supported by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).

The event, titled Age-Based Ranking for Women Safety Factors in Tourist Places, is coordinated by Supriya Vyas, Neha Kolhe and Jagdish Singh from the Department of Architecture and Planning at the premier institute.

This workshop is part of an ongoing research project analysing women's safety across the Sanchi- Bhimbetka- Bhojpur-Bhopal-Pachmarhi tourist circuit. The project aims to create gender-sensitive and inclusive public infrastructure.
