Ranchi, May 20 -- The Jharkhand government has started the process of construction of the second phase of RIMS, the state's largest hospital, in Kanke, Ranchi. But as soon as the process of land measurement began, a dispute also started. The villagers did not allow the police and administration to measure the land. The administration claims that RIMS Part-2 is to be constructed on the land of Birsa Agriculture behind RINPAS in Kanke. But the villagers argue something else. Therefore, there was a deadlock at the measurement site throughout the day.
The villagers stopped neither the measurement work saying that neither any compensation was given nor any notice for vacating the land. The administration is trying to grab the land forcibly. The...
